Technology is an integral part of our lives. In 1931 Chester Gould developed a cartoon character that used a phone on his wrist.   For years children and adults were entertained with the crime stopping Dick Tracy.  In 1966 Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek debuted on NBC, featuring Captain Kirk using a “communicator” to communicate with his crew.  At the time these comics and shows were science fiction.  Today they are a reality, all the tools that were once part of science fiction are now commonplace. Add to that the plethora of interactive educational websites that are available and we now have an abundance of resources at our disposal.
